If we have written about you, you should be able to reply
We read what UK meal delivery brands publish and put it on a consistent basis. Sometimes we get it wrong, sometimes we cannot read you at all, and sometimes you would rather tell us directly. This is the way to do that.
What we are actually asking for
Nutrition a person can open and read on your own site. That is the whole condition for being in the catalogue, and it is the same one for everyone.
A few brands publish exactly what we need and refuse automated access to the page carrying it. If that is you, the figures are not in dispute — the transport is — and we would rather ask you than keep engineering around it.
If you publish claims but no figures, we cannot fix that from this end. A number with no independent existence cannot be traced to anything, and printing it would break the one rule the site rests on.
What happens to what you send
Nothing you send here changes a published figure on its own. That is not distrust of you specifically; it is the same rule that stops us inventing numbers. A correction is a prompt to go and re-read your own page, and if the page agrees with you the figure changes at the source, so it carries its provenance like every other number here.
Figures you supply directly need a public page or a photograph of the pack behind them. Anything supplied that way is labelled as supplied rather than read, because a reader is entitled to know the difference.
We check whether your email domain matches the website we hold for your brand and pass that on to whoever reads your message. It proves nothing on its own — an address is a claim, not control of a domain — and it is not a condition of getting an answer.
What is not for sale
Worth saying before you write rather than after. No commercial arrangement buys any of the following, and that is not an opening position:
- A place in a ranking, or a better one.
- A rating, or a change to one.
- Inclusion in the catalogue, or faster inclusion.
- A correction handled faster than the same correction from a brand that pays us nothing.
- The removal of a competitor from a comparison.
- Sight of our figures before they publish.
Sending us data is free, and stays free. We are not going to charge the brands who publish least for the privilege of being read accurately.
The same list, and what we do earn from, is set out in how we make money. It is the page we would want to read first if we were you.
Write to us
One person reads these. If the form will not do what you need, the address is hello@knowdish.com.
How we work out the numbers is set out in our methodology, and what we currently cover is on the brands page. Both are worth a look before you write — they answer most of what arrives here.
