Who is behind KnowDish
Leah Zou is the founder of KnowDish and is responsible for its product and editorial approach. That includes the rules used to separate published facts from calculated comparisons, and the decision to leave unavailable information unknown rather than estimating it.
Why KnowDish exists
Prepared-meal and recipe-box services often make broadly similar promises: convenient, healthy, high-protein, balanced, fresh.
But when you actually try to choose between them, the useful details are scattered across menus, nutrition pages, FAQs and pricing screens. Different services present them in different ways, which makes a simple question — which service fits me? — surprisingly difficult to answer.
What we're trying to make easier
KnowDish brings those details together so you can compare services on price, nutrition, dietary options, meal format and menu range. You can then browse individual meals to see what each service actually offers.
The aim isn't to tell everyone which service is “best”. Different people care about different things. KnowDish is here to make the trade-offs clearer, so you can make a more informed choice.
How we approach comparisons
We work from information published by the services themselves and keep the original source behind the numbers we use.
Where it makes sense, we calculate additional comparison measures so that meals can be viewed on a more consistent basis. We explain those calculations openly in our methodology.
And if a service doesn't publish something, we don't guess. Missing information stays missing.
